10 Simple Reasons why you should support Mid-America
1. It is not our practice to ask people for donations. We do not normally have campaigns or fundraisers. We do encourage people to pray about how God wants them to be involved with Mid-America. God leads some to become students, some to become supporters, and some to be prayer partners.
2. There is an atmosphere of accountability. Finances by Faith creates an atmosphere of accountability, which insures that Mid-America will stay true to our calling. The moment we stray from God’s will, we jeopardize our daily provision! Our President, Dr. Michael R. Spradlin said, "For those in the will of God, accountability is not a burden or a yoke; instead it is a protection and a joy."
3. We see God’s provision daily. We believe that if our students and graduates are going to make a difference in the world, they must be men and women of great faith. Finances by Faith gives us all an opportunity to see how God answers prayer.
4. God gets all the glory. Anyone who looks at the financial history of Mid-America has to say, "Only God could do that!" In fact, it is a history of miracles.
5. It keeps tuition affordable. Tuition charges cover only about 25% of the cost to educate our students. The additional $10,000 per student per year is provided through your gifts.
6. You can help the spread of the Gospel. Because of our evangelism requirement, almost 4,000 people each year profess faith in Christ through the witness of our students.
7. You can reach the entire world for Jesus. Our alumni are serving in nearly every state and over 55 countries worldwide. We have missionaries and church leaders sharing Jesus from Vermont to Vietnam, from Idaho to Indonesia, and from California to China.
8. You can impact eternity. Through the ministries of our 2,700 alumni, thousands of people are coming to know Christ, hundreds of churches are planted and grown, and dozens of seminaries and colleges receive conservative theological influence.
9. You can help shape the future. The spiritual leaders of our world are in training now. How will they cope with a postmodern culture that disdains all things of God? They must be prepared as leaders willing to live blameless and holy.
10. You can be a part of something unique. No other seminary on earth requires faculty and students to be active soul-winners. Mid-America set the standard for conservatism during the resurgence 33 years ago, and remains the standard today.
