Seminary Housing

Student Housing is located at the Student Village adjacent to the main campus at 1975 S. Beaman Circle in Cordova, Tennessee, just  west of the Appling Road and Goodlet Farms intersection. There are currently 135 apartments available for students.  We have 6 apartments designated as missionary units.  We also have 1 unit designated as a commuter unit.

 

The one, two, and three bedroom apartments each come with refrigerator, dishwasher, disposal and full size washer and dryer. To view housing floorplans, clickhere. The cost of living in the Cordova area is very reasonable, and there are several options for quality schools including excellent public schools, private Christian schools, and an active home school network.

 

Currently, rent for Student Housing  is about half of the local market rate for comparable units. 1 bedroom: $475; 2 bedroom: $565; 3 bedroom: $635.  A housing deposit and the first month's rent are due on move in (in two separate checks). The Campus Life office is also available to assist students with locating alternative housing.

Student Housing is located about 3 miles from campus at 1000 Burdeck St., Schenectady, New York. There are currently 23 units available for student occupation, and 1 unit available for overnight stays by students.

Rent for Student Housing ranges from $450 to $635 per month (rates will increase on August 1, 2008...see rates above). This is considerably less than local market rate for comparable units. The Directors office at the Northeast Branch is also available to assist with any additional information.

 

Mid-America Student Housing guarantees that the monthly rental rate for a student's apartment in Seminary housing will not increase for a period of up to six consecutive semesters of a least half-time enrollment in on-campus coursework at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.  To qualify for this rent guarantee, a student must be in good standing with the Seminary, making normal progress toward a degree and be enrolled in at least six semester hours of on-campus coursework at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.  Should a student no longer qualify for the rent guarantee, rent will be immediately adjusted to the prevailing rental rate at the time.
