Interlibrary Loan
Mid-America is a member of the Memphis Area Library Council (MALC) and the ATLA Reciprocal Borrowing Program. These formal and reciprocal cooperative agreements enable our students and faculty to access resources outside of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.
When visiting any of the member libraries, mention that you are a Mid-America student and that your school library participates in the MALC or ATLAS reciprocal library borrowing program. Please visit the MALC and ATLA websites for the most up to date list of available libraries.
Because lending policies vary among the institutions, check with the Mid-America Library Director before contacting other libraries. The Mid-America Library Director will place requests on your behalf with participating libraries. If the item can be loaned or photocopied, the Library Director will obtain it and notify you when it arrives. Please note that the time required to obtain materials through ILL can vary, depending on the nature of the item and its availability. You should allow up to two weeks lead time for obtaining materials through ILL.
