Mid-America Scholarships
Generous donors cover approximately 46% of the cost to attend Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. This means that the cost to students is significantly reduced. This makes Mid-America much more affordable for students.
There are currently a wide variety of scholarships available to students who are accepted into or are making progress toward a degree. Students must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher while making normal progress toward a degree. For scholarships offering a discount, percentages are stackable up to 25% (with the exception of the ACT scholarships offered at the College). PLEASE NOTE: Student is required to be enrolled in two or more courses each semester to qualify.
To learn for which scholarship options you may qualify, simply complete the Financial Aid application.
- For next school year: Students must submit their Mid-America Financial Aid application by May 31 for consideration for Fall and Spring scholarships.
- For new, incoming students in Spring: New, incoming students for Spring entry must submit their Mid-America Financial Aid application by November 1 for consideration for Spring scholarships. They also need to apply by May 31 to receive scholarships covering the following school year.
Upon receipt of the Scholarship offer, the student will be required to complete a thank you note to the scholarship’s donor. If the thank you note is not completed by the due date, the offer will be retracted and the student will be responsible for payment of the account.
In applying for scholarship aid, recipients are expected to be good stewards of monies provided by our donors. If a scholarship recipient fails a class, they will be required to pay for the class if repeated.
Mid-America reserves the right to modify scholarship details.
