Founders’ Days 2024 will be combined with the Adrian Rogers Preaching Conference, so expect some inspired preachers, including Dr. Michael Spradlin, Dr. David L. Allen, and Dr. Mac Brunson, Dr. H.B. Charles, Jr., and Dr. Brad Whitt.
Since the inception of the Arkansas Prison Initiative in 2019, God has impacted and changed many lives. Last May, 18 long-term inmates graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies from The College at Mid-America to become Field Ministers across the Arkansas Department of Corrections (ADC). Mid-America has announced that our Alumnus of the Year for 2024 is Dr. Brad Whitt. A 2001 MDIV graduate at Mid-America, Dr. Whitt serves as the Pastor of Abilene Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia.

The 2024 Mid-America Passion Play saw 41 souls saved through our annual Easter production.
Tickets are now available for the Mid-America Passion Play, March 21–24, which returns to the Mid-South in 2024 under the direction of Dr. James D. Whitmire. Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, Crossroads Baptist Church, and Love Worth Finding join together again for this presentation.
A groundbreaking was held recently, for the new prison seminary building at the Varner Unit of the Arkansas Department of Corrections, a high security prison in Lincoln County. Mid-America’s Arkansas Prison Initiative is the first in the state that prepares graduates to become field ministers, whose role is to assist prison chaplains by ministering to inmates inside prison walls.

Mid-America’s President, Dr. Spradlin shared the news on June 14 that Mid-America is the recipient of two major collections of preaching resources: the 5,000-volume library of Dr. Adrian Rogers and the 25,000-volume library of Dr. David L. Allen.
