Carol Wilson has been with Mid-America since September 2004. She began as an assistant to Dr. Jimmy Millikin and Dr. David Skinner and also served as an assistant to the Registrar, Mrs. Louise Burnett. After only one year, she was promoted to the position of Administrative Assistant to the Academic Vice President, where she served for seven years. She was then promoted to the position of Administrator Assistant to the Dean of the Doctor of Ministry program where she served for seven years. During this time she also served as the Assistant to the President Emeritus, Dr. Gray Allison, and several faculty members, including Dr. Jere Phillips, Dr. David Shackelford, Dr. Matt Akers, and Dr. James Whitmire. In 2018, she was promoted to the position of Executive Administrative Assistant to the Vice-President of Institutional Advancement. She now serves as the Executive Assistant to the Vice-President of Institutional Advancement. Carol was married for 34 years to Jack who was called to his eternal home on May 13, 2015. They had four daughters, five grandchildren, and now four great grandchildren. Carol attends Crossroads Baptist Church.
